If you need to, check the dates on the bottom of the pints, they should be 12-18 months out. You also don't want to buy from a freezer that is caked in ice. And lastly, make sure ice cream is the last thing you buy at the grocery store (always shocked when I see people wandering the pretzel and chip aisle with meat and ice cream in their cart, and not even packed together so they can keep each other cold)Dubba Scoopshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07135130511349727532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-41617091393144111972015-01-02T09:39:17.574-05:002015-01-02T09:39:17.574-05:00I haven't tried the greek version yet, but wil...I haven't tried the greek version yet, but will look for it. Cherry Garcia is the only ice cream i will eat. And it never gives me an upset tummy. But bout it yesterday and it'all wrong. Watery tasting, cherries no longer taste fresh, chocolate had same taste, but felt it had been halved in amount. The watery taste was the send off for me. Bye bye we will not meet again.sharonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-26686521049017584092014-09-15T01:10:43.920-04:002014-09-15T01:10:43.920-04:00I also think the texture is very gritty. It has good flavor, but I can't get past the almost powdery mouth feel.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-49642166772718286112014-06-22T19:51:03.399-04:002014-06-22T19:51:03.399-04:00Tasted great, but the texture was very gritty like...Tasted great, but the texture was very gritty like eating a pear which isn't pleasant in froyoAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18339394605304631946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-75525919221758757702014-05-29T16:28:06.627-04:002014-05-29T16:28:06.627-04:00Thanks, Dubba! Thanks, Dubba!Bobbynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-85791886217331886332014-05-29T13:32:02.550-04:002014-05-29T13:32:02.550-04:00Oh geez.... it's been so long, I havent really...Oh geez.... it's been so long, I havent really bought that since my wife craved it during her last pregnancy, but I'll try:

flavor wise, this is more balanced as the flavors have cancelled each other out a bit, so no real tart or tang here.

texture wise, this is more frozen greek yogurt then it is frozen milk (like the regular froyo). Keep in mind it has an extra 3.5g of fat to help it seem more... robust.Dubba Scoopshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07135130511349727532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-21954324481782781822014-05-29T12:44:26.811-04:002014-05-29T12:44:26.811-04:00I've been looking for this, but haven't se...I've been looking for this, but haven't seen it yet. Thanks for the review and comparison to the regular Cherry Garcia. However, I was wondering how you would compare it to the regular froyo version of Cherry Garcia.Bobbynoreply@blogger.com
