Nothing new from Edy's/Dreyer's: if (like Dubba) you don't like the texture, you won't like this. The (light) ice cream is cinnamony/churro-y but not incredibly sweet or strong. The churro pieces are not super plentiful (I got lucky on my first batch, which led me to a second batch that more evened out) but are fine, even if they don't stand out much from the ice cream. The swirl (when you can find it) is OK, but graham is a relatively middle flavor and doesn't exactly pop for me. For a "kids'" ice cream, it's not very visually exciting, with a relatively bland base color (I always think of churros as being darker/more bronze-y then this fairly pale color), a slightly different shade for the swirl, and only slightly darker churro pieces. I'd still recommend trying it if you like somewhat mild cinnamon ice cream (this is not a fireball) and Edy's/Dreyer's generally, but set your expectations at fine/good rather than great, closer to the memory of that carnival churro rather than actually crunching into one in between roller coaster rides.

Tried the Villains flavors because they had interesting packaging (just like the Superman/Wonder Woman/Batman flavors released in the last year or so). Joker was a solid mint cookie (with smaller cookie pieces than Mint Cookie Crunch, one of my favorite Dreyer's flavors), and the Ha fudge pieces gave it a nice change of pace. Harley's was pretty good for a Cherry Garcia type of flavor (obviously factoring in price/brand), with lots of the bites tasting like cherry even though there were (sensing a trend?) not necessarily a ton of pieces. While the vanilla base does a good job of letting the mix-ins shine, it's still feels like it's wasting calories instead of just eating the mix-ins.
Again, worth a try if you like those flavors; I liked Harley even though, in general, Cherry isn't one of my top flavors.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-5966380140645033812019-07-18T18:04:22.020-04:002019-07-18T18:04:22.020-04:00I had Toy Story 4 Chocolate Peanut Butter Prize. It would have been okay if there was a lot more of them, since they were really good, but it was basically like eating plain chocolate ice cream.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17117992334127964305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-82362946865802795582019-07-18T12:22:16.284-04:002019-07-18T12:22:16.284-04:00I loved this one! I wish there were more churro pieces.I loved the cherry one but disliked that mint Joker one. Something about the chocolate chunks tasted bad to me. However it wasn't enough to throw it out before I finished the container :)Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14305460025700371845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-55824487458594247382019-07-18T09:06:47.324-04:002019-07-18T09:06:47.324-04:00The sour patch ice cream is good!
