Ever since my early days of flipping grade E but edible beef, I haven't been a huge fan of the burger chains. It wasn't like I stopped cold turkey, but we really don't go much anymore. Anyway, when time is short and the belly is empty, I do find myself stopping at Wendy's and grabbing 1 or 2 of those little double stack cheeseburgers.
Well, those annoying customer surveys have invaded Wendy's, but rather than some 1 in a million chance of winning $5,000 from Home Depot or $1,000 from Wal-mart, you are rewarded with the somewhat new Frosty Float. You can call the number or go to a website, plus it says only one free float every 30 days. Maybe the floats aren't taking off like they thought they would...
...or maybe I've never taken a look at the back of a Wendy's receipt because the copyright is dated 2007! Has this been going on forever? Have the floats been out that long? Did 2008 pass that quick?
